Highway Cleanup

Hey guys! Yesterday 7 students at Cedar Ridge had the opportunity to go and clean up trash along a one-mile stretch of highway. We had from 3:00 to 6:00, but because of Chad and I keeping everyone here while I got some stuff from the home, and Kat forgetting the trash bags, we didn't get started until 3:45! We had to rush down the road to get done with enough time for dinner and some play time at Constitution Park in Neola. Of corse, the boys weren't too hungry. We got to munch on some buffaloberries growing right by the stretch we were cleaning up. They were wild, but Chad assured us that he had eaten them a lot when he was growing up. He says they make great jelly... Maybe we could make some for the campus! That would be an awesome treat, especially if we had it over Seminar so you guys could try it! Anyways, we have a lot of awesome pictures that will be posted very soon. Have a good week!

Cedar Ridge Update!!!

Hi! This is Jamie here. So Cedar Ridge is getting prepared to pick a school MASCOT! I'm pumped because Kat, Ryan, and I are going to be representing 3 different animals and running against each other. Of course, their animals stand no chance against whatever mine ends up being...but that's alright. We'll let them have a chance to play the game anyways. (Lol just kidding). Soon we'll narrow the list down to three and I'll let you guys know what it comes down to! Peace out girl scouts.

Hello everyone. This is Kat and I just wanted to say hi and that student council is doing great. On Tuesday, August 24 seven students are participating in a high way clean up. The strip of road is one mile and students will clean both sides of it. After they will be rewarded with a scrumptious dinner. Bye.

Hey y'all! Ryan sendin you a shoutout from the boys side of the Cedar Ridge campus! We have a lot of fun stuff going on Friday afternoons now for people not on Acedemic Probation (AP)! Now people who are doing school up to par and beyond can play games and other fun stuff Fridays. Kat and I actually had the opportunity to go on a hike with our local science nerd (besides me) Chad! It was a lot of fun and we got a lot of awesome pictures. :) Anyways, thats the new stuff going down here at CRA. L8rz peoples!

Start of Something New

Hey, this is Ryan and Jamie! So, the student council has been re-organized and we are now in control of the blog. We will be updating you guys on whatever's going down at the Ridge. We're planning lots of cool things for the community and the student body, so we're pretty excited. Cedar Ridge is going to become much more involved with the world around us, starting with writing and publishing childrens' books for a local elementary school. On top of that, we're organizing fundraising events for the karate team as well as ourselves. So under our influence, things are going to get a lot more fun and beneficial so you'll want to make sure you keep up with us! :)
